The 14,587-meter-long tunnel is being built using both TBM and NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method) technologies, enabling faster excavation and lining. Tunnel T8 begins at the upcoming Devprayag Railway Station and ends at Janasu Railway Station. A breakthrough is expected soon. News Station editor Siddharatha recently visited the site to assess progress.
