Please don't forget to like, share and leave a comment… Help me to stay motivated, to create better content and be able to share the knowledge, hopefully it will be useful and become a charity for our journey together, Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin… Narrated by Abu Hurayrah: from Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2646, Book 41, Hadith 2 : The Virtue Of Seeking Knowledge [that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him."] As a rule of thumb, any hadith which contradicts the Qur’an should be considered null and void. Only the Qur'an is the absolute authentic text which has remained intact throughout. Al Qur’an is the word of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى and Hadiths are just for our reference. May we receive mercy from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and also receive guidance to gather sufficient supplies so that we are safe and comfortable in Mahsyar facing Allah SWT being entered into heaven by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala without reckoning and also punishment. ** Please also do your own research and pray that Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala will guide us on the right path and not stray away from it. ** . . . ---- ** Today story is extracted from several books; The History of At-Tabari (Prophets and Patriarchs) and Stories of the Prophets by Ibn Katheer. ** ------ . . . Surah mentioned : Surah Al ‘Ankabut 29, verse 26 : [ So Lut believed in him. And Ibrahim said, “I am emigrating (in obedience) to my Lord. He (alone) is indeed the Almighty, All-Wise.” ] Surah Al Anbiya 21, verse 71 : [ Then We delivered him, along with Lut, to the land We had showered with blessings for all people. ] Surah Ali ‘Imran 3, verse 96 : [ Surely the first House (of worship) established for humanity is the one at Bakkah—a blessed sanctuary and a guide for (all) people. ] Surah Al Baqarah 2, verse 45 : [ And seek help through patience and prayer… ] Surah Al Baqarah 2, verse 260 : [ And (remember) when Ibrahim said, “My Lord! Show me how you give life to the dead.” Allah responded, “Do you not believe?” Ibrahim replied, “Yes I do, but just so my heart can be reassured.” Allah said, “Then bring four birds, train them to come to you, (then cut them into pieces,) and scatter them on different hilltops. Then call them back, they will fly to you in haste. And (so you will) know that Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.” ] Hadith mentioned : Sahih al-Bukhari 5084 : Book 67, Hadith 22 Chapter: Having female captives and manumitting one's own slave-girl Narrated Abu Hurayrah : The Prophet Sallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam said : Ibrahim did not tell lies except three. (One of them was) when Ibrahim passed by a tyrant and (his wife) Sara was accompanying him (Abu Hurayrah then mentioned the whole narration and said:) (The tyrant) gave her Hajar. Sara said, "Allah saved me from the hands of the Kafir (i.e. infidel) and gave me Hajar to serve me." (Abu Hurayrah added:) That (Hajar) is your mother, O Banu Ma'-As-Sama' (i.e., the Arabs). Sahih al-Bukhari 2217 : Book 34, Hadith 164 Chapter: The purchase of a slave from the enemy Narrated Abu Hurayrah : The Prophet Sallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “When the king got to her, she got up and performed ablution, prayed and said, 'O Allah! If I have believed in You and Your Apostle, and have saved my private parts from everybody except my husband, then please do not let this pagan overpower me.' On that the king fell in a mood of agitation and started moving his legs. Seeing the condition of the king, Sarah said, 'O Allah! If he should die, the people will say that I have killed him.' The king regained his power, and proceeded towards her but she got up again and performed ablution, prayed and said, 'O Allah! If I have believed in You and Your Apostle and have kept my private parts safe from all except my husband, then please do not let this pagan overpower me.' The king again fell in a mood of agitation and started moving his legs. On seeing that state of the king, Sarah said, 'O Allah! If he should die, the people will say that I have killed him.' The king got either two or three attacks, and after recovering from the last attack he said, 'By Allah! You have sent a satan to me. Take her to Ibrahim and give her Ajar.' So she came back to Ibrahim and said, 'Allah humiliated the pagan and gave us a slave-girl for service."
