DOLEHAM. Lost in the countryside.

Today I visit Doleham for a short video. Part of MY story, this, for we are introduced to the Westcombes, and their roles at the brickworks. There is still a company nearby making Sussex Handmade Bricks, but when I contacted the current owners I was told that when they bought the company there were no records of any history connected with Doleham. Perhaps competition forced closure of the latter. Maybe we shall never know. Moving closer to a series of videos which are about me and my family and the area. I found them hard to film and it will be even harder to edit and include everything. But as they also form part of "places you didn't know you didn't know" it has to be done. Please bear with me.
