Grand Theft Auto IV - 14 Years Later Ah GTA IV, the third highest rated game of all time. Good to see you’re still in 2nd place Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. There’s probably no other game where my opinion of it has flip flopped as much as Grand Theft Auto IV. After the incredible San Andreas, the expectations for this game were huge. Especially with the longer wait compared to the 2 year gap between Vice City and San Andreas. The first GTA game on the 7th generation of consoles, it was set to revolutionize the series. And then it finally came out, to almost overwhelming critical praise. Which naturally drove my own personal hype for it through the roof. Once I finally got my hands on it and started playing, I was blown away with the game, at first.
