Pizza Base • 1¼ cups(175g/6oz) All Purpose/Plain Flour. • 2 tsp Baking Powder. • 1 tsp Salt. • 1 tbsp Olive Oil. • ¼ cup + 2 tbsp (85ml/2.87 floz) Warm Water. Toppings • 1 Minute Pizza Sauce. • Mozzarella Cheese. • Pepperoni. OVEN TEMPERATURES. Preheat the oven to: • 180°C/360°F [Fan Oven] • 200°C/390°F [No-Fan] • Gas Mark 6. METHOD. 1. In a mixing bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt. 2. Mix to combine and set to one side. 3. In a separate container mix together the warm water and olive oil. 4. Pour the water mixture into the dry ingredients and stir with a spoon or your hands until it forms a ball. 5. The dough should be soft but not sticky. If the dough is too dry add a little extra water. 6. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead a little to bring it together. 7. Roll the dough out into a round 10-inch circle. 8. Place the non-stick pizza base on a pizza tray or baking sheet. 9. Spoon the 2 to 3 tablespoons of my 1-minute pizza sauce on top. 10. Cover with lots of grated mozzarella and pepperoni or toppings of your choice. 11. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. 12. Mmm Scrummy!!! STORAGE. • The raw pizza dough can be stored in the fridge for 24 hours just make sure to wrap it tightly in cling wrap. • Leftover pizza can be stored for 3 days in the fridge in an airtight container.
