As we remember and remember God's faithfulness at work in our lives, we cultivate gratitude which increases our love for Christ, and that is priceless! LINK to FREE Printable below: https://juliekgillies.com/?p=244 As the year 2025 comes to a conclusion, taking intentional time to reflect on the past twelve months is a transformative spiritual practice. This is a sacred moment to pause, look back, and see the hand of God at work in the intricate details of our lives. By intentionally remembering, we move beyond just "moving on" to the next year and instead cultivate a heart deeply rooted in gratitude. Reflection is not only about celebrating the joyful milestones; it is about acknowledging the grace, wisdom, and comfort God faithfully provided during our most challenging seasons. When we take stock of how He has sustained us, we honor the Lord and build a foundation of faith that carries us into the future with confidence. A Resource for Your Reflection To assist you in this time of remembrance, I have provided a free End of Year Reflection printable on my blog. This resource is designed to help you quiet your heart and focus on God's kindness without the pressure of a strictly guided format. You can find the link to the post and the free download here: https://juliekgillies.com/?p=244 Ways to Practice Remembrance There is no "right" way to reflect, but there are several meaningful ways to begin: The Prayer Journal: If you keep a journal, flip through the pages month-by-month. It serves as a written testimony of answered prayers and God's steady presence. The Digital Timeline: If you do not keep a journal, your phone’s photo gallery is a wonderful tool. Scrolling through your photos from January to December can help you recall the specific moments where God supported and strengthened you. A Quiet Environment: I encourage you to find a peaceful space, pour a cup of tea, and allow yourself the time to think deeply. Avoid the temptation to rush through this process; there is great value in sitting quietly with your thoughts and the Lord. Scriptural Foundation "I will remember the Lord’s works; yes, I will remember your ancient wonders. I will reflect on all you have done and meditate on your actions." — Psalm 77:11-12 I hope that as you use this reflection tool, your heart is filled with a renewed awareness of God’s mercy and kindness. May this practice be a blessing to you as you close out this year and prepare for the one to come. #Faithfulness #YearEndReflection #ChristianWisdom #Gratitude #SpiritualGrowth #JulieKGillies #BibleStudy
