And that's Dragonflight normal solo'd ! Another "healing" boss, the bane of hunter soloing :) I was 620 ilvl. There are two checks here. The first is the gear check. You want to survive the aflames until you can dispel them, and dps hard in phase 1 so you don't use too many defensives. Then there's destroying the shield during the intermission before the second set of orbs (although there are other strats). The hard part is the healing. You have to bandage the adds but the boss pulses AoE every 3 seconds, interrupting your bandages. And after 6 or 7 ticks he kills the spirits. So you have to chain the bandages between the ticks, and fast, like a rythm game. So it's tight on the execution - you can only afford 2 misses. Then there were the add phases. I used a healing trinket (from brewfest) for the first one, with Heroism to kill adds ASAP before their screams killed the spirits. The second one I sacrificed - hence why I couldn't afford mistakes on the previous waves. Phase 3 is easy.
