The tie rods are manufactured from aircraft-grade 7075 billet aluminum, while the outer ends are made from 4140 chromoly, treated for wear and corrosion resistance. The steering flag is also machined from aircraft-grade 7075 for maximum durability. All hardware is Mil-Spec Grade 10.9, providing superior strength with the right amount of controlled flex where needed. These solid billet tie rods are engineered to be dramatically stronger than OEM. The factory tie rods are a known weak point under aggressive riding conditions.
