This video showcases the differences in rendering motion pictures (Video) using Chaos Vray and Chaos Vantage. Given the speed of Vantage, I was also able to incorporate Fog and record more footage at a much greater resolution and higher quality setting. With Vray, it would surpass reasonable waiting time for rendering if I applied the same settings as I did in Chaos Vantage. Conclusion: This clip shows that you can achieve amazing results with the workflow 3dsMax-Vray Materials-Chaos Vantage. The quality of the video footage using Vray alone is incredibly accurate, however, it is simply not worth the wait (using a home studio setup), when you can achieve similar (slightly less) quality in Chaos Vantage. You need to tinker around with the settings a lot in Chaos Vantage, but, you will get good results. This comparison settings (off top of my head): Polygon count is exactly the same. Chaos Vantage rendering was accomplished using GPU (RTX4090) at the "Ultimate" render settings and at 4K resolution. Duration approx. 16 hours. Length of footage is 21 sec. SPECIAL : FOG was added. Chaos Vray rendering was accomplished using CPU (i7 14gen, 128GB RAM) rendering at 0.05 noise resolution and at 2K resolution. Duration approx. 16 hours. The length of footage is 9 sec. About the Footage: This is a unique building with a triangular-tall ceiling entrance. The building is designed and rendered as a concept building that started with a hand-drawing in a sketch-book. The result was as you see here, a large towering building overlooking a pavilion and community area. Features: 25 stories tall building,  with each floor at 6.8 m height. 179 m height, from ground to top of the building mast. 5,625 square meters of ground 8,000 square meter large tiled pavilion and community space.
