The Ultimate Western Roadtrip: Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier are all spectacular and unique in their own rights. The Tetons are impressive, Yellowstone is unique, and Glacier is beautiful! My 3 favorite national parks I have been to. I started my epic road trip by flying into Jackson, WY - one of the coolest approaches for flying into any airport. From there, I spent 2 day in the Tetons and in Jackson, WY before moving on to Yellowstone. The first night in Yellowstone was spent as the historic Old Faithful Inn, which was a great experience with a great central location. After spending several more days exploring every corner of Yellowstone, I stayed in West Yellowstone for the remainder of the time. After the time in Yellowstone was over, it was time to drive across the state of Montana to Glacier National Park. While in Glacier, I stayed at another historic lodge, Many Glacier Hotel. This is lodge and the surrounding area is commonly referred to as the US Swiss Alps, and for good reason. I spent several nights at the Many Glacier Hotel and exploring the Many Glacier area before moving to the other side of the park. Here, I stayed at Apgar, which has an incredible view of Lake McDonald. While staying here, I did everything along the famous and scenic Going to the Sun Road. It was then time for the trip to come to an end, but many memories were made that will last a lifetime. All three parks are amazing and I cannot wait to go back!
