Dyeing Fabric with Chalk Paint™ | The Idea Ladies

Calling all DIY’ers! Today we are dyeing fabric to make an amazing romantic bed but at a fraction of the cost. You know the one, the frilly, light, pretty, soft, and absolutely beautiful place to sleep but will cost hundreds to replace the linens.... or will it? Carrie and Jeannine are teaching us how easy it is to dye fabric with Chalk Paint™️. Watch along to see them demonstrate live as well as give you some great tips. For those wanting to try at home, I've listed the steps below 👇🏼 1️⃣ Pour the paint into the tub. Gently mix the ratio 1 part paint 20 parts water. Stir stir stir!! Adjust the ratio depending on how light or dark you want it. 2️⃣ Leave the fabric in up to 30 minutes. Squeeze water out and hang to dry. Wash it in the machine when dry or leave it as is. That's it!
