5 Requirements for Good Disability Representation | Disabled Characters in Books, TV + Movies

Have you ever thought about what you do and do not like about disability representation? What’s an accurate, respectful portrayal of someone with a disability or chronic illness? This topic is an important one that’s slowly generating more attention. I think it’s a meaningful conversation to have to get the discussion started and keep it going. Without a doubt, this video is simply my personal opinions and should not be thought of as comprehensive or all inclusive list. I am by no means an expert on this topic. I simply did my best to assemble the themes and topics that I most appreciate finding on the page which is included in today’s video.
