Background music: Lyckligt slut ("Happy Ending" in Swedish) by Lancelot check it out: • Lyckligt slut ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This video introduces you to Ms. Maiko Yamada, one of Japan's fashion models and actresses. Maiko was born in Shinagawa in Tokyo to Japanese parents. When she was a little child, due to her father's job, the family lived in Ohita prefecture in Kyushu, Japan's southern island. When she became 14 years old, her family moved to Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture, near Tokyo. Her father was a salaryman who work at a global financial company. In 1996, at age 15, Maiko was scouted for a role in a TV drama series called, "Invisible Man." From this role, she was offered a job as a model for several popular girls' fashion magazines. Maiko didn't have to work but to help her family, she did. Academically, she was driven and was a good student. She set a goal to earn enough money to go to college, so she worked part-time. In 1999, she got into one of the best universities located in Tokyo called, Keio University. There, she majored in Human Science and minored in Italian literature and language. Meanwhile, she kept her part-time job as well, appearing in TV dramas. After Keio, she got a job in Tokyo and quit being a fashion model and an actress. From the beginning, becoming an actress was not her life's goal. She also married her college sweetheart and had children. As of 2022, she is happily married, taking care of her family. Best of luck to Miako whatever she does! Thanks for watching...; please give a massive thumbs up! My videos are sort of related to each other, so enjoy others as well. Peace out... to all the beautiful souls out there in the world. Cheers!
