Full spectrum + Filters or Modified for a specific light band?

A quick video exploring purpose modified DSLR cameras vs Full spectrum cameras using threaded filters. Why modify a camera to a specific band? why open up to Full spectrum and use filters? I appologise for the start. I am learning to use a slider and also walk around with a stabliser. I have a long way to go. The intro is fairly boring but hang in there. Not looking to entertain you. Looking to educate you and answer peoples real world questions. These tools are expensive and people generally don't get to compare and play. Photos taken on a modified Canon 600d.
