With tearful devotion and unwavering faith, we carried the precious Holy Relics — the sacred ashes of our Root Guru, Venerable Lama Rinpoche — to the most blessed and holy places of the Buddha: Lumbini, Bodh Gaya, Sarnath, Kushinagar, Vaishali, Rajgir and Vulture Peak, Nalanda, Sankisa, and many other sacred lands. Each step of this pilgrimage was taken to fulfill Rinpoche’s final wishes and to pray, with our whole hearts, for his swift, pure, and complete rebirth — free from any obstacles or mistakes. At every holy site, we offered prayers soaked with longing and gratitude, feeling Rinpoche’s presence guiding us invisibly, just as he guided us throughout our lives. Though his physical form has dissolved, his compassion, wisdom, and blessings accompanied us at every moment of this sacred journey. Now, at last, we have reached Rishikesh and Dehradun, on the banks of the holy Ganges River — the final destination of this pilgrimage. The Ganga, revered as a river of purification and liberation, embraces the world with sacred waters. Here, with trembling hands and devoted hearts, we made the final sacred offering of Rinpoche’s precious ashes to the holy waters, Ganga river,entrusting them to the timeless flow of compassion and blessing. May this offering remove all remaining obscurations. May Venerable Lama Rinpoche swiftly and perfectly return, endowed with long life, profound wisdom, and boundless compassionate activity. May we never be separated from our Guru, life after life. May the Buddha Dharma flourish, and may peace, healing, and awakening arise in the hearts of all sentient beings.
