Filling My Boat Hull With Foam… Good Idea or Mistake? Backyard Boat Build Part 4
In Part 4 of my homemade aluminium boat build, the internal structure really starts coming together. In this episode I install the custom buoyancy foam inside the hull, then fit and position the deck panels, side pockets and internal pressings that form the layout of the boat. Once everything is aligned and fitted properly, it all gets fully welded out to lock the structure together. With the deck going down and the internals taking shape, the boat is starting to look a lot closer to a finished hull. More progress coming soon as the build continues.
