This antenna was a stinker in the rural low elevation area of our place, but we got it for Natalie's mom, who lives in the city. How did it fare in the city, closer to the antenna towers? It pretty much got all of the major UHF channels, one of the VHF-hi channels, and wasn't able to get the low power VHF-low channel. It missed one of the UHF channels that is a repeater of MY TV I believe, on channel 45, but that one always seems to be tricky to receive, even with an outdoor antenna. There may be a few super low power stations that it missed, but it hit all of the major networks. 55 miles out? Definitely nowhere near that! Every single place that is capable of receiving OTA signals, what you need to receive those signals is different. Indoor antennas likely need to be really close to the transmitters. If you can get all of your signals on an omni directional indoor antenna, great; it'll save you a lot of money, no rotators or expensive channel combiners.
