Karli & Ozzie's wedding day utterly took our breath away!! It felt too perfect and beautiful to possibly be real life. I felt like we were filming the ending shots of a romantic comedy or something! It was STUUUUNNING! But.... let me tell you about the major anxiety and drama this beautiful destination caused me leading up to their big day! The forecast for the entire weekend was thunderstorms. Every day, every hour... thunderstorms! Not ideal for a wedding on the beach. Even on the morning of their wedding, every hour was forecasted to have at least some rain. So, you may ask, did their wedding day get rained out?!? N.O.P.E. It was PERFECT (ok a lil hot/sweaty) but perfect nonetheless, and we were so grateful! Karli and Ozzie exchanged their heartfelt, funny, handwritten vows on the edge of the water surrounded by their closest friends and family. This amazing group of people flew all the way from Minnesota to celebrate these two beginning their marriage. Their officiant put it perfectly when he said, "The beautiful moments in life should be done in the beautiful places on the earth." It was the perfect place for a perfect moment. As the sun grew lower in the sky, Karli and Ozzie walked the beach together, newly married, and took in a gorgeous sunset before heading in for an epic party to end the evening. These two are friends of ours and so it was extra special to us to be able to capture their wedding and to witness them getting married.
