DKODING End of Masood Azhar ? | Global Terrorist | Latest News | India, UN, China, France

#MasoodAzhar was finally listed as global terrorist by the UN on 1st May. The sanction came after a decade of persistent efforts by India. International pressure from US, UK and France helped India as China finally decided to loosen its stance. Azhar is the head of terror outfit Jaish e Mohammed which is behind gruesome attacks on Indian soil, including 2001, Parliament attack, 2008 Mumbai attacks and the recent Pulwama blasts. Azhar’s actions were responsible for heightened tensions between two nuclear-armed nations which appeared on the brink of war in February 2019. UN Sanctions Committee listing imposes a global ban on Masood Azhar which includes asset freeze, travel ban and arms embargo.
