As it's the Christmas season, Alex and I just had to pull out one of my favourite carols of all time, the translated hymn, 'O Come, O Come Emmanuel'. It is such a beautiful prayer, swelling up from our innate desire to come face to face with God Himself, to look upon Emmanuel, the Light of the world. Here's our acoustic version of 'O Come O Come Emmanuel', followed by the bridge from 'One Thirst' by Jeremy Riddle, and then 'Emmanuel' by Normal Hutchins, and such a beautiful, tender moment with the Lord for the both of us, as we echoed out and continued the prayer of the hymn, in-between.
