Agent Rayne Is Back in Bloodrayne 2 Deadlier Than Ever and She Wants Revenge Against Her Father Kagan the Vampire Lord. I played the Terminal Cut version on Steam by Ziggurat Interactive for the PC. This is the sequel to the cult classic game starring the vengeful Dhampir half vampire and half human hunter Agent Rayne. She's back hotter and deadlier than ever! She also has more detail and graphics in her model this time. This sequel takes place 60 years after the first game which took place during World War 2. This game has more modern locations and places. Rayne has been hunting and destroying other vampires and her dhampir half siblings who were created by her father Kagan during that 60 year time frame. This game reveals that Rayne wants revenge against her vampire father Kagan for killing her human mother and her family. This game has some improved visuals and graphics. Rayne also has more details as well in her character model. The gameplay introduced new moves like a more detailed combat system and gameplay. You can do more combos with your blades and kicks. You also have access to the harpoon at the start which you can use to impale your enemies or grab and pull environments to open new pathways or cause destructible environments to collapse or crumble. You also have your usual aura vision to find enemies and locations, dilated perception to enable Matrix style bullet time to slow down time, and your rage mode to increase damage and defense. You also have a new gun called the Carpathian dragons which uses the blood of your enemies as ammo or if you run out uses Rayne's own blood instead. You gotta be careful with this gun because it could drain your health if you don't pay attention. In this game if you use your abilities like rage and guns enough times they level up. You also gain new abilities as you beat enemies and bosses in this game. Some examples are super speed which is an upgraded dilated perception or fury aka rage mode level 2 which further increases your attacks and extend your blade length dealing even more damage and additional attacks. The game is an improvement to the first game but it didn't get enough recognition so that sucks for that reason. I think the first was just more popular than this sequel.
