Chapter 101 – KOH LIPE – DAY 4 Today will be our last full day on the island of Koh Lipe. We intended to eat breakfast as late as possible in order to enjoy a really leisurely day. We met the neighborhood Tabby cat pleading for table scraps while enjoying the resort's sumptuous breakfast buffet. We spent the remainder of the morning lounging by the pool before having a late lunch at the resort's beachfront restaurant, where I enjoyed a delectable spaghetti bolognese. A taxi-boat arrived in front of the resort as we were wrapping up lunch. We climbed aboard the longboat, the boatman cast off, and the boat backed up for the short ride over the blue waters. The boat docked, and we got off to see the iconic driftwood LIPE sign at the beachside Zodiac bar, a popular location on the expansive, gorgeous sandy North Point Beach with a large drink menu at affordable prices, a live DJ spinning calming beats, and lots of cosy spots to unwind on the beach. We flew the drone for the remainder of the afternoon, taking pictures of the island of Koh Lipe, the stunning beach, and the blue waters. There was a one-man fire display after the blue hour, but it was not as thrilling as some I have seen in Thailand. After eating chicken salad and pork knuckle with sides for dinner, we rode a tuk-tuk back to the resort. After a restful day, we returned to our cosy accommodation. Thanks for watching.
