This opera is inspired by Carl Jung’s concept of the collective unconscious. The music portrays the idea that beneath personal memory lies a deeper psychic layer shared by all humanity. The recurring voices, archetypal figures, and mythic imagery represent universal patterns that shape emotion, fear, love, and meaning. The tenor’s journey inward is not self-centered but expansive: by descending into his own depth, he encounters the timeless human story. The work suggests that healing and identity arise not from isolation, but from remembering our place within this shared inner inheritance. A whisper moves beneath my fragile name, A nameless fire wearing my face like flame. I feel a sea behind my lonely eyes, Older than all of my small goodbyes. In every tear that trembles, half-concealed, A thousand lives I never lived are revealed. Deep below the thoughts I speak, Voices rise from an endless peak. Not mine alone, yet burning in me, One great heart beneath the sea. Deep below my fleeting breath, Dreams remember more than death. Not mine alone, yet crying in me, One great heart beneath the sea. I see a child with a lantern in the dark, Guiding my fear with a trembling spark. A gentle hand, a mother of sky and stone, Holding my wounds as if they were her own. A wandering sage with a broken crown, A silent warrior laying his armor down. They move inside me like forgotten prayer, Old as thunder, young as the midnight air. Deep below the thoughts I speak, Voices rise from an endless peak. Not mine alone, yet burning in me, One great heart beneath the sea. Deep below my fleeting breath, Dreams remember more than death. Not mine alone, yet crying in me, One great heart beneath the sea. Tonight I fall through a door of glass, Shards of time and forgotten faces pass. A wounded bird, a hero made of light, A veiled queen walking through endless night. I touch their hands and they open like stars, Bridging my heart to all broken scars. I’m not alone in this inward sky, The world is breathing through my quiet cry. Deep below the thoughts I speak, Voices rise from an endless peak. Not mine alone, yet burning in me, One great heart beneath the sea. Deep below my fleeting breath, Dreams remember more than death. Not mine alone, yet crying in me, One great heart beneath the sea. Let every wound, let every fear, Become a door that opens here. Let every dream, both dark and bright, Unfold its face in the hidden light. Deep below my lonely name, I find a fire no shame can tame. Not mine alone, yet living in me, One great heart, forever free. One great heart, remembering me. #Opera #Soprano #tenoraria #PhilosophyInMusic #ClassicalVoice #EpicOpera #OperaAria #Lyrics #ClassicalOpera #OperaSinger#OrchestralAria#EpicOpera#operaperformance
