MODIFICA CLASSICA | 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Outlaw RS Tribute Finished in Slate Grey Metallic over black leather, this 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Coupe has undergone a comprehensive RS-style transformation, including lightweight components and a top end rebuild of the original 3.6L flat six, bys renowned air-cooled specialist KMW motorsports in Pompano Beach, FL. Paint is said to be in excellent condition, exterior modifications include RS-style aero side mirrors, RS-style front bumper air ducts, deletion of the bumperettes to European specification, and a 991 GT3-derived center-exit exhaust system. It rides on RSR silver-finished 18” BBS E88 five-lug wheels with polished outer lips and Hankook Ventus V12 tires measuring 225/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear. A collection of images is provided in the gallery. The black leather interior presents standard Porsche comfort seats and a MOMO MOD07 deep-concave black edition steering wheel in black napa leather. Additional enhancements include a Function First black anodized shift knob and Rennline interior trim components such as black anodized perforated door handles, as well as a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) radio system with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity. Upon the car’s importation to the U.S. in April, 2025 the car’s original air-cooled flat-six engine underwent a top end rebuild completed in August, 2025 with new valve cover gaskets, timing chain covers, and cam seals, as well as a fresh Sachs clutch kit for the original 5-speed G50 manual transmission. The 991 GT3 center outlet exhaust and Fabspeed RSR headers, as well as the smoothed out bumpers & cabin accoutrements such as the Porsche classic radio really bring this build together. Vehicle includes clean Montana title, along with the original Japan title, as well as all detailed invoices & maintenance records and a fully detailed excel sheet of the build by Modifica Classica including all restoration and modifications since acquiring the car. This 1990 964 has a stance that is unlike any other 964 I’ve built, with the widest set of BBS Motorsport E88s I’ve ever put on a narrow body 964, and dead stock H&R deep coilovers that are extremely hard to acquire. The car absolutely rips, but is also a pleasure to cruise around in. This 964 is incredibly quick and engaging. I am an industrial designer by trade, and building and restoring air-cooled 911s is my absolute passion.
