What can you do with a Disability Studies degree?

Disability Studies (DS) is about changing society, not fixing bodies. In DS, we work on imagining better forms of representation, inclusion and accessibility for disabled people in our world. Here, students, alumni, community partners & a professor discuss how the DS degree has opened doors, shifted how they think about disability, and led them towards a range of summer jobs, graduate schools and careers. While legislation is increasingly requiring that society become more accessible and inclusive, many organizations and professionals are unsure of how to do this. The DS degree gives students a distinctive knowledge of best practices around progressive and alternative approaches.
