Winter Shelter | Save children | Karabin Camp

Last winter, when ruzzia began to "nightmare" Ukraine's heating and energy system by firing more than 1,000 missiles and drones, many parents faced the challenge of how to provide their children with warmth and the opportunity to live, learn and develop. After all, prolonged and constant cooling of the child's body weakens the immune system and leads to serious illnesses. Following the example of the Siversk community, Bakhmut district, there has been no electricity or water supply since spring 2022, but families with children who do not want to evacuate still live there. Three groups of children stayed there for almost a month. The wooden cottage where the children lived was equipped with a generator, internet, wood heating, and a spring water system without electricity - this place was ideal for living during the cold weather. The children could study and improve their health in the shelter. We are grateful to everyone who joined us in saving the children and restoring their mental health.
