Carey’s atmospheric playing added a dramatic flair to the band’s music, particularly on tracks like “Stargazer.” After leaving Rainbow, he pursued a successful solo career, blending rock, pop, and progressive elements, and gained recognition with hits like “A Fine, Fine Day.” This lineup is often considered one of the strongest in Rainbow’s history, marking a golden era of creativity and live performance.
