Even several Chinese automakers exporting vehicles to South Asia already rely on the same wiring systems, meaning Indian influence is now embedded deep within international trade routes. This acquisition also gives India an entry point into emerging and strategic markets across Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and beyond — regions where Indian automotive manufacturing previously had little or no presence. Once seen only as an assembly hub, India is now becoming a global automotive power by acquiring legacy manufacturers and reshaping global supply networks. The full acquisition process is expected to be completed by 2027, after which the Indian company will officially become the parent entity.
