In this video titled "GHANA'S $500 MILLION NEW SCIENCE AND STEM UNIVERSITIES PROJECTS FAST DEVELOPING TO MEET DEADLINE " In a significant milestone for Ghana's educational landscape, the current administration under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is making history by overseeing the construction and establishment of over ten higher education institutions across the country. This unprecedented effort represents the highest number of universities developed by a single government since Ghana gained independence. Among the notable institutions in development are the Local Government University in Akumadan-Offinso North, and the University of Engineering and Agricultural School located in Bunso. These new establishments seek to address the increasing demand for quality education and specialized training in critical sectors, ensuring that Ghanaian youth are well-prepared for the future workforce. Further bolstering this educational initiative is the University of Environment and Sustainable Development in Somanya, along with the ongoing Phase II expansion of the University of Health and Allied Sciences. Additional projects include the Yagabaga-Kubori Nursing Training College, a satellite campus of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) in Juansa, Asante Akim North, and the newly established School of Railway and Infrastructure Development. Moreover, the University of Ghana has also set up a campus in Kumasi, while Toyota Ghana has launched a School of Engineering Science and a training center, aimed at nurturing the next generation of skilled engineers. The University of KNUST is also expanding its reach, with the new Obuasi campus now underway. This ambitious educational expansion not only enhances Ghana's higher education system but also aligns with national development goals focusing on improving access to quality education and fostering economic growth. With a commitment to providing "Bold Solutions for the Future," the current administration is urging citizens to support these transformative initiatives.
