Fugue in G major

This is a fugue in 3 voices on a subject by Marcello. I worked directly at the piano and improvised chunks of the fugue little by little. I recently posted an improvised example here:    • The Making of a Fugue stretto section. His...   I ending up using this fragment in the final piece (from 1:07), however slightly modified and in a different key. For me, improvisation and composition are closely intertwined. Once I had a variety of improvised fragments at my fingertips, I started writing them down. In this fugue, the writing process allowed me to structure my improvisations in a coherent way and also to "correct" and refine various problems I encountered along the way.
