Meenmutty Falls, located about 45 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, India, offers a glimpse of the natural beauty surrounded by the Western Ghats mountain ranges. From here, adventurous minds are invited to take a detour to the top of Meenmutty Falls. To get to the destination, take a boat ride through the catchment area of the Neyyar dam. After reaching the KombaiKani tribal settlement, the trek to the Meenmutty waterfalls begins, which is about 5 kilometers from the settlement and KombaiKani waterfalls. The Kombaikani waterfall is a wide fall on the Neyyar River. A forest camp house is nearby, where trekkers can rest and eat. This trek, which requires permission from the forest department, will be accompanied by forest guides. An ideal destination for a one-day trek, the boat will pick you up from KombaiKani and drop you off at Neyyar Dam in the evening.
