The 9th annual Bridgeport Turkey Chase Race was delayed by a week and was held in December of 1988, combining the Big and Small Block Modifieds. Qualifying heats, consolations, a Winners Classic and the 40-lap feature race are all included in this video. #CL22 Chip Slocum defeated #85 Jimmy Horton in the Winners Classic, but Horton dominated the main event over #86 Elvin Felty, #19 Kenny Brightbill, #36 Roger Laureno and #83 Pete Visconti. Will White and Guy Smith spent many years traveling to many hundreds of race tracks and recording videos in all 50 states, as well as in many countries around the globe.
