Speedrunning has a long history with hate comments and cheaters, ranging from harmless “he used a glitch, that's cheating”, to pretty vile comments. Needless to say, that is a real problem. Of course there are some cheated runs but the amount of hate comments and cheating suspicion on legitimate runs is really concerning. And while it is already pretty bad in the general speedrunning scene, I think nobody will disagree that there is one subculture within that might take the icing on the cake.
