I don't know how it was for you but for me... the first several years of my spiritual awakening were filled with some pretty clear, and sometimes in your-face, guidance! I always seemed to "know" the next step. It was as if my greater spirit would send signals through synchronicity, dreams, or simply that internal "knowing" I was surprised to find...years into my awakening… After a LOT of inner work, growth, and change I found myself completely and utterly stuck… lost… and spiritually disconnected My life situation wasn’t all that great either. I was between jobs, living in a month-to-month apartment, barely holding on. I had a sense that something BIG was coming! Just over the horizon… Just around the corner… But it never presented itself. I also felt a growing dissonance with my life situation But I wanted to be certain of what to do so I thought it best to wait. I must wait until I KNOW what to do! I must wait until I am “told” what to do is more like it if I’m being honest. I had become reliant on tarot cards, synchronicity, and other forms of divine guidance. To my defense that always worked in the past! But now it wasn’t As time went on... still nothing! My life continued to spiral downward. Finally, I grew tired of waiting and after a hard day, I just said to hell with it! I asked myself some simple questions… “Vic, what would you like to change about your life?” Where do you want to live? What do you want to do for work? What kind of lifestyle do you envision? All great questions but the problem was that my situation was a far cry from any of those answers! But instead of waiting for guidance… I just decided right then and there to begin working toward my vision… (even though it wasn’t perfectly clear and would probably change) I decided to ACT I also had to take responsibility for my situation… and for me, it was quite difficult... It was much easier to blame my higher self, the universe, and "the energies" LOL But once I owned my life situation... and started taking what I would call, "sloppy" action... even though I was making mistakes and veering off track quite often! Things started flowing again! and what I learned through this prolonged period of feeling "cut off" was... I had the POWER inside of myself all along! "I" - come to find... could guide myself. Relying on what seemed to be, outside guidance, was appropriate for me... (for a time) But I got to a point where I didn't need it any longer and was being asked to step into my power. and then... something really unexpected happened! The synchronicity and guidance returned! But now, it was more of a balanced, "co-creative" effort. Within months my life started to turn around and within a year it was unrecognizable. My life improved on all imaginable levels, and I did it on my own, through hard work. And because of this my level of gratitude is very high. Improving your life is great of course... But witnessing yourself transform along the way is priceless. I share this because people reach out to me all the time reporting the same thing... "Vic I'm stuck!" I think to myself... Good! This person is ready for the big leap!
