高雄艦（舷號：LCC-1）是中華民國海軍旗下一艘現役中的兩棲指揮艦，除了是中華民國海軍唯一的一艘同類型軍艦外，也是第一艘以台灣地名命名的軍艦。 1944年3月11日下水的高雄艦原為美國海軍杜克斯郡號戰車登陸艦（USS Dukes County LST-735），曾參與二戰時太平洋戰區的數場戰役與朝鮮戰爭，並在1957年時租借予中華民國，之後自美國海軍除籍、正式移轉給台灣，於2017年借予中山科學研究院轉型為中華民國海軍史上第一艘導彈測試艦。 Kaohsiung ship (hull number: LCC-1) is an active amphibious command ship of the Republic of China Navy. In addition to being the only warship of the same type in the Republic of China Navy, it is also the first warship named after the place name of Taiwan. The Kaohsiung ship launched on March 11, 1944 was originally the USS Dukes County LST-735. It participated in several battles in the Pacific Theater during World War II and the Korean War, and in 1957. It was leased to the Republic of China when it was leased, and was later removed from the US Navy and officially transferred to Taiwan. In 2017, it was lent to the Zhongshan Academy of Sciences and transformed into the first missile test ship in the history of the Republic of China Navy.
