This 1985 Mercedes-Benz 250 is finished in black over a Henna Red velour interior and is one of 5,180 factory-built long-wheelbase limousines produced between 1976 and 1985. The Lange models produced on the W123 platform rode on a wheelbase that was 24.8” longer than the sedan variant and was offered with a choice of three engines. This example retains its factory shade of black (040). The interior is trimmed in Henna Red velour with matching carpets and features seating for up to eight passengers with a split middle-row bench seat that can be folded up against the rear of the front seats. The seats have reportedly been re-padded throughout. Equipment includes manual climate controls with Behr air conditioning, power windows, a power-adjustable passenger-side mirror, rear vent windows, and rear headrests. A Becker Europa cassette stereo is situated in the console.
