This first part of this video was shot overlooking the ECML on the east side of the line at Ferryhill, near the Tarmac Thrislington Quarry and Concrete Plant. The video starts with 37 519 passing north at 12:16pm. The unidentified Class 47 heading south at the end of this section was only 1 hr 10 mins later, so a reasonable clutch of loco-hauled workings were seen for such a short period. The second half is from a 25 minute stop on the platform at Stockton station and features mostly light engine movements. The station appears almost unrecognisable compared with its current condition. The final views were taken on 3 successive evenings from an over bridge on the ECML at the village of Brafferton, near Darlington, Co. Durham. Probably the most interesting thing about the clips is the still-to-be completed electrification upgrade to the ECML featuring in the shots. 00:00 Ferryhill 11:00 Stockton Station 16:32 Brafferton Lane (Darlington)
