This Art Deco waterfall cabinet was nearly written off, but instead of painting it, I restored it using some period appropriate techniques. In this video, I walk through the full refinishing process, including sanding, stripping, staining, toning, and sealing with lacquer, while explaining how this type of waterfall furniture from the 1920s–1940s was originally built and finished. A mass-produced piece in its time, this cabinet is now a unique statement with a long second life ahead.
