3 Easy Gin Infusions for your Cocktails | Homemade Stuff

In this video I am showing you three of my favourite Gin Infusions that are so easy to make! Making those three won’t take you much time, effort and costs but I can guarantee you that you will be happy with what comes out and your friends will definitely be impressed. Infusing spirits is a great way to preserve a certain fruit, herb or spice and having a certain ingredient at hand for a longer period of time. The Basil Infusion that I’m doing in this video is a great example for that - after infusing the spirit with the herb combined with a special technique I basically preserve the aromatics of the herb inside the spirit which will last for a long period of time because of the alcohol preserving it. Now that I have my infusion ready I don’t have to run to the store every time I want a Basil Smash on the run and honestly there is always some herb that is left and you have to throw away because it dries out. Also shaking like crazy to extract the aroma and colour and the blocked drain that comes every time after a big round of this cocktail. Same goes for the Raspberry Infusion (that makes such a good G&T) and the lemongrass infusion that you both see how to make in the video.
