An ancient woodland walk | NATIONAL TRUST Sullington Warren

Owned by the NATIONAL TRUST Sullington Warren is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Storrington in West Sussex. There is a circular trail of approximately 1½ miles and at this time of year especially, it is very beautiful with the leaves and heath turning to their autumn colours. Sullington Warren is a rare area of lowland heath with woodland paths on the site of an old windmill, with wide open spaces, a Bronze Age “bowl barrow" and ancient woodland. The area feels like a portal into an alternative world; it is so beautiful and relaxing. I hope you will enjoy this walk with us.
