Spending A Week In The Mountains Of Puerto Rico: Our Trip To Rincon

We decided it was time to take a trip centered around nature and chose to visit Rincon, a small surf town on the west coast of Puerto Rico. We were there for a week and had the chance to do multiple things such as hiking, exploring caves & waterfalls, surfing and relaxing at various beaches along the coast. A few things we recommend checking out while in Rincon: Exploring the Wind caves (about an hour from Rincon), visiting Steps beach, Domes Beach, Marias and Sandy beach - all great for surfing, snorkeling and/or simply relaxing. Checking out the waterfall about 15 minutes from Rincon (El Ultimo Brinco), eating at Jakes, Big Kahuna, Red Flamboyan and Tamboo. Additionally, you can drive about 30 minutes north for a few more beautiful locations such as Crash Boat, Jobos and a few other areas all in the Isabela/Aguadilla area.
