Osteopathy is a fantastic career option for people who value flexibility and are looking for excellent work/life balance. Osteopaths are highly employable, with options to work in private practice or the NHS, to be their own boss or work as part of a multi-dicipinary team. It's also a great career to combine with passions and specialisms, with opportunities to work with professional sports people, animals, children, expectant mothers or with the general population, as well as in research, public health and education. On average osteopaths work 30 hours a week, but can choose to work more or less around other interests and commitments. The average income is £43,320, with 5% earning in excess of £100K.* Sound interesting? Sign up for an open day to find out more at uco.ac.uk/opendays. Institute of Osteopathy census 2021
