This film follows a solo quinzhee build from the first shovel strike to the last ember, including bushcraft shelter construction, open fire, and cast iron cooking deep in the winter boreal. One winter night in a snow shelter. No commentary. No music. Nature sounds only with captions to explain the process. The squeak of packed snow. Wind against the quinzhee wall. And the particular silence that comes when the temperature drops and the forest goes still.
