When overwhelm greets you before you even get out of bed and everyone seems to need something from you at once what does faithfulness actually look like? In this episode of Dementia Caregiver Support for Christians, we name a collision many Christian caregivers quietly live with: fragile plans and swirling emotions pressing up against fixed responsibilities that do not wait for us to feel ready. Recorded in the days after Christmas, while grief, disappointment, and uncertainty were very real, this episode does not offer emotional resolution or coping strategies. Instead, it slows us down long enough to tell the truth about what shifts and what does not. Feelings change. Plans change. Roles change. But Christ has not changed. Together, we look at the difference between every need around you and the actual responsibility God has entrusted to you today—no more, no less. This conversation is about discernment, not relief. About stewardship, not fixing. About anchoring your caregiving decisions in the unchanging character of God when your emotions feel anything but steady. If you are a Christian caregiver feeling pulled in every direction, unsure who you are disappointing, and weary of making decisions driven by guilt or urgency, this episode is for you.
