#tahoe #gravelbike #bikeride After an epic adventure on the Marlette-Flume Trail ( • Not a typical gravel trail - 1200 ft above... ), I was already itching for the next ride. Flipping through the map, I spotted something intriguing near Fallen Leaf Lake – Angora Ridge Road. What started as casual exploring turned into another unforgettable ride, packed with jaw-dropping views and surprisingly smooth climbs. Compared to the grueling Tunnel Creek Road, this one felt like a breeze – especially since I opted for the paved route up and down instead of the more rugged mountain bike trail. But don’t be fooled by the easier ride – the final stretch to Angora Lake turned into a stunning gravel path, surrounded by panoramic mountain and lake vistas that looked almost too perfect to be real. And just when I thought the ride was winding down, I hit the "Rock Garden" trail and rolled through the peaceful Tahoe Mountain Meadows. Every trail felt like a hidden gem, and the mix of terrain made it a ridiculously fun day immersed in pure Tahoe nature. If you’re looking for a ride that combines ease, scenery, and a splash of adventure – this one’s a must.
