According to the captain, we were supposed to be the first flight arriving at Muscat and had to hold and wait until the airport opens. However, we departed Salalah about half an hour late due to a conflict with an overweight passenger who was blocking the over-wing exit. After back-and-forth arguments between the crew and the passenger the situation resolved. As a result of the delay the holding at Muscat was no longer necessary and we landed on time.
