One thing I never knew about Egypt before arriving to the country was the incredible café culture that exists here. From dawn to past dusk, you will find crowds of locals sitting at outdoor cafés, sipping some tea or Turkish coffee, eating, smoking shisha, and socializing. Join me as I visit a local coffeeshop, (or awhua, as they are known in Egypt), to experience this incredible aspect of the culture and learn about it's history. Welcome to the channel! My name's Gisselle, I'm a budget traveler and have been to 6 out of the 7 continents, visiting 20+ countries, living for some time in Sydney, Australia as well as in Saigon, Vietnam.
