People destroy their broken dentures by gluing them back the wrong way. Glue damages the denture permanently if it is not applied the proper way. Here is an easy trick to glue back a broken denture perfectly! This is not meant to be a permanent fix. This is only temporary fix until you take it to the dentist or to the lab. You can use it for show but don't eat with it! The glue won't hold if you eat with it. Stay safe and be well! Ariana Dental Lab Inc. Transcript: When you glue a denture, don't put glue on the denture here. [gestures] No, that's wrong. Put the glue on the back of a glass or a small container. Before you apply the glue on the denture, you have to practice putting the denture together without glue so that it fits together right. Practice fitting it first at least 3x before fitting it together with glue. Once I learn how the dentures fit together, then I apply the glue with an applicator like a knife or something more fine tipped. I put the glue in a thin line on one side of the broken denture. Then I put the broken parts together and there is no mess. Hold the broken sides together for a few seconds or a minute depending on your glue. I do the same with the other piece. See, practice it first. It fits together like this, just right, a few times. Practice it. Then apply glue [Loctite Superglue] in a thin layer on one side of the broken denture. Then put together the other broken piece. You have already practiced the fit so you piece it together precisely. Wipe off any excess. Leave it for a few minutes. Then you can wear it until you take it to the lab or the dentist. And you can tell them that you glued it and now need to get it fixed. This won't damage the denture with excess glue.
