We end each interview with 10 questions, which we ask every guest. These are graciously modelled on James Lipton's questions from Inside the Actors Studio. Our second guest is a very good friend of the Perfect Gentleman; James Marwood. James is a management consultant, self defence and Bartitsu instructor. He holds regular self defence seminars aimed at those without experience in martial arts or the like. Having studied the martial arts since he started school, having gained a degree in Criminology and with 10 years experience in the private security industry, James is especially interested in the practical applications of fighting systems and how the theory can be applied in the real world. He is also a keen student of historical fighting systems, especially the sword arts of Elizabethan England.In his professional life James spends a lot of time public speaking, running workshops and helping global corporate clients determine strategy and solve problems. He notes the flexibility, dedication and resilience learned through years of martial arts study have been invaluable in this. We talk about safety, beautifully polished shoes and the delights of tweed. We hope you enjoy this and each and every episode we release.
