From there, I visit Svenskt Tenn (Swedish Design Store Since 1924), an iconic interior design boutique famous for its timeless Swedish craftsmanship, bold patterns, and classic furniture designed by Josef Frank. This store has been a cornerstone of Swedish design for nearly a century. Back on Strandvägen, I pass the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern), Sweden’s national stage for performing arts, housed in a magnificent Art Nouveau building. Just nearby, I stop at the statue of Margareta Krook, a tribute to one of Sweden’s most beloved actresses. The statue is unique as it is warm all year round, symbolizing her warmth as a person. I continue my walk along Nybrogatan (New Bridge Street), a lively street filled with cafés, boutiques, and classic Stockholm charm, before ending my tour at Östermalmstorg, one of Stockholm’s central squares, known for its market hall and elegant surroundings.
